Poederbaas hats and headbands
Poederbaas is an environmentally conscious company that has become known for its colourful knitted hats and headbands. Poederbaas designs their own collection and tests new product samples before putting them into production. Part of the collection is still made by the team of grannies who are proud of every product they make. The other part is produced by BSCI member organisations. They support retailers, importers and brands in improving working conditions and taking social responsibility. The beanies and headbands are mainly made of high-quality long acrylic fibres that are strong, do not pill and are soft to the touch. This type of fibre is highly resistant to water and wind and UV-resistant.
History of Poederbaas
The roots of Poederbaas lie in their passion for freeride skiing and snowboarding. Selling homemade knitted hats and headbands from their backpacks was initially an added bonus. So the company was founded in 2010 and they have since grown into an environmentally conscious accessories and clothing company.
